Emirates Is Giving Away Free Hotel Stays in Dubai This Summer

This summer, Emirates is making it easier to take an unforgettable—and affordable—vacation to Dubai. The airline recently announced that it would be offering its passengers free hotel stays at some of the city’s best properties through August.

The offer applies to flights booked now through June 11 for travel from May 26 to August 31. Travelers can choose to visit just Dubai or to make the city a stopover and continue on another Emirates flight to a different destination—but to qualify for the deal, travelers must spend a minimum of 24 hours in Dubai.

Passengers flying in first and business class will be given a free two-night stay at the 25hours Hotel Dubai One Central, a five-star hotel that opened in December 2021 and is a highlight of the city’s blossoming One Central neighborhood. Travelers booked in premium economy or regular economy will be afforded one complimentary night at the Novotel World Trade Center Dubai.

If you’re interested in the deal, you’ll want to book fast: The hotel rooms are available on a first come, first served basis and are subject to availability. Emirates recommends booking at least 96 hours (about four days) ahead of your departure for the best chance at scoring the free rooms.

To book the free hotel stay, simply purchase your flights with Emirates before June 11. (Be sure your time in Dubai is at least 24 hours long and within the travel period of May 26 to August 31.) Once you’ve booked your flights, email [email protected] with your booking reference code, date of arrival in Dubai, passenger names, contact phone number, and email address. You will then be sent your hotel confirmation.

Once you’re on the ground, you’ll also get access to additional discounts and perks around Dubai, just by showing your boarding pass. The airline has refreshed its My Summer Pass program, which grants passengers offers on can’t-miss activities like a 30 percent discount on spa treatments at the Sofitel Dubai the Palm, 20 percent off tickets to the top of the Burj Khalifa, 15 percent off desert tours with Arabian Adventures, and hundreds more. The boarding pass discounts last through the end of September.

The timing of the free hotel stays is ideal for American travelers, as it coincides with the airline’s expansion of its new premium economy cabin in the U.S. The new cabin—which comes with benefits like extra legroom, comfier seats, and Champagne—have debuted on routes to New York JFK and San Francisco, and are coming to Los Angeles and Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental airport later this summer.
