First and for the vast majority of the cruise lines, you do pay extra for 🍹 Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. However, beverage packages can be purchased for the entire cruise, which help to save you money.
Note:
Most of the major cruise lines are now offering 🍹 All You Can Drink Packages, that you can purchase. These package deals include both; alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices. Check with each individual cruise line, for more information and pricing.
On our last cruise in the 🏝 South Pacific, as soon as we stepped on board ship we were greeted and escorted to a main foyer.
Here, staff were in attendance offering these packages to passengers, along with added incentive gifts to purchase.
The choice is yours, if you wish to add this to your expense account. Most specialty restaurants on board, do charge extra for this luxury, should you wish to experience optional and more intimate dining.
Gratuities are additional and something that I strongly suggest you fit into your cruise holiday budget. Staff on board work very hard, long hours and make very little money.
Gratuities are important to these people and if deserving, is something that should not to be forgotten.

On the few cruise holidays that our family have experienced, when I was searching for the very best deals, I would always watch for those extra enticements added to a particular cruise.

I am always receiving 📧 email newsletters from the cruise lines and can’t believe some of the incentives they continually offer to attract guests.
