Holiday World seeking 2,200 new employees for the 2024 season

This is the first year Holiday World’s new gravy-themed roller coaster, Good Gravy!, is in operation.
SANTA CLAUS, Ind. — Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari officials are trying to fill over 2,200 positions ahead of the 2024 Season.
The amusement park is now accepting applications and dozens of dates are set for in-person and virtual hiring events for potential team employees to be interviewed and onboarded conveniently in a town near them.
During hiring events, prospective first-time team members will have 15-minute phone interviews with park management. Many departments fill positions early, especially for 14- and 15-year-olds, so interested candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible.
“We offer flexible scheduling, and our Team Members are active members of their communities and schools,” Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari President & CEO, Matt Eckert, said. “We keep the interview process simple to match that, and we even visit nearby cities where we offer transportation, such as Evansville and Owensboro, to interview and onboard Team Members.”

“With the addition of Good Gravy! this year, our Attractions team is going to need more people than ever,” Eckert said. “People from around the country are excited to come to Santa Claus, Indiana just for our new coaster, and we’re making sure our team is fully staffed and ready to deliver an excellent experience.”

Individuals must be at least 14 years old to apply, however, the majority of positions require individuals at least 16 or older. Team member return rates hit a record high in 2023, and the park expects even fewer spots for first-time team members in 2024. If you’re interested in applying, click here.
Adults seeking seasonal employment, such as retirees and teachers, are encouraged to apply. Team Members housing is available on a limited basis; applicants must be at least 18 years old or older to apply, and must live at least 50 miles away from Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari.
