The Many Moods of Mt. Fishtail: Witnessing Beauty at Pokhara

Chhavi and I went to Pokhara on a tennis journey. She was playing in two ITF qualifying tournaments at Pokhara Nepal. So we stayed for about 10 days. Tennis journeys are various than vacations. We see the event venue far more than something else. She spends some time on court almost everyday and then is the emotional roller-coaster of successful, getting rid of or finding a walkover in the matches. The highs are okay but the lows at times can really get low!

Still we stated to each and every-other that we will try out a new cafe for each meal and try to make a bit of a getaway. It was Chhavi’s initially time in Nepal where as I was going back to Pokhara alone for the 3rd time.

All my previous outings to Pokhara were being of 2 nights and the clouds dominated. I scarcely bought a glimpse of Mt. Machapuchare or Mt. Fishtail. But it all transformed when we stayed for about 10 days in Pokhara at November conclusion and December starting. If the climate favors you, Pokhara puts on its appeal and Chhavi and I were smitten.

We stayed at the Trekker’s Inn hotel at Pokhara and this was the view ideal from our elevate foyer! I was so energized to see it appropriate there!
