This Contiki fam just had their 50(!) year reunion

To show us that their experience wasn’t just about damp tents and chilly showers, Carol kindly questioned her team to explain to us their individual highlights of the journey. Right here are a handful of of our faves:

“Catching the educate up the Jungfrau, Switzerland, which is known as “The Top rated of Europe” and skiing at the best of the Lauterbrunnen-Murren Mountain Railway.”

Hey, that does sound pretty great. Perhaps that’s why we nonetheless do it right now!

“Driving our Contiki Crimson Van about the Monte Carlo Method 1 circuit itself, and having to see the renowned British racing driver, Jackie Stewart’s motor vehicle.  We were being also in a position to wander all over the Pits and ogle at the amazing F1 cars and expertise a minor of the superior lifetime of a Grand Prix.  Likely could not wander the Pits now…”

Uhh, yeah…this sounds amazing to be genuine, but I’m not persuaded F1 would give us this sort of obtain these days. So until a Contiki driver goes quite rogue, I’m concerned this is not going to be on an any itineraries following year, sorry folks.

“Pyjama Day.  We all participated in donning our PJ’s for the vacation working day into Kavala, Greece.  We had been to make absolutely sure we experienced our ‘under garments’ on however!  The looks we were being given, by the locals, when we would all disembarked from our minimal crimson Contiki van in PJ’s was so hilarious!”
