Long lines at LaGuardia as travelers try to rebook flights

Dozens of vacationers stranded by a string of disastrous delays and cancellations at LaGuardia Airport waited in hourslong traces Friday in hopes they could finally rebook their flights. 

“It’s awful. They textual content you all the updates as far as the delays, but when the actual cancellation [comes], no word from any one,” John Rodriguez, who skipped a wedding ceremony in the Florida Keys immediately after his flight to Florida was canceled Thursday early morning, told The Put up.

Rodriguez, who is luckily a regional, went household at 10 p.m. past night time immediately after his flight was delayed for almost 12 hours and then canceled. He’s holding out hope he can get a flight “anywhere near” the Florida Keys so he can at least salvage a hotel scheduling he created in Islamorada. 

“We had reservations at Islamorada in the Keys, starting tomorrow. They never want to refund anything at all. That’s like $2,000 down the drain. We’re making an attempt to see if we could get anything,” stated Rodriguez. 

“So significantly, nothing.” 

The pair waited two hours on Thursday to see an agent and when they ultimately spoke to her, they were advised there was nothing she could do. 

“I was quite upset. Then we had to wait in one more hour and a fifty percent line to get our luggage again,” Rodriguez reported. 

“[Today] my wife acquired on the cellular phone. She got anyone now, she is striving to enable us. She obtained through right after virtually 3 hrs on hold.”

Amaury Severino is also trying to get to Florida for a family vacation with 12 household users, together with his young youngsters, but gave up on traveling by mid-afternoon and was in the processing of booking a large van that he could generate to Orlando.
